Her first shot at oatmeal, she enjoyed how sticky it was!
Food time is definitely a happy time....
Bathtime is a favorite.
She has always loved the water, but here is a short video of WHY she love the water!
Can you say splash-oholic!
In other news, we should be closing on our house either this week or early next week. It's a different one than the yellow one we posted about earlier, that one had the misfortune of being owned by people who owed WAY MORE than their home was worth, so even our reasonable offer wasn't good enough. So we looked around some more, and our wonderful realtor showed us another one that we also liked. It has 1600 sqft, 3 bedrooms 2 baths, a nice sized kitchen with a skylight and a large living room plus a large sunroom. It also sports an outdoor shed, 7 (yes, seven!) medium and large sized trees in front and an interesting garage workroom. The cons are: that garage workroom needs to be cut back (most likely into a pantry the size of Mike and Tammy's), it takes up half the garage (the previous owner built and serviced guitars, so it was his home office), the backyard is nothing but weeds and gravel and the only tree there has been cut down, and the outdoor shed is placed in a very ugly location. However, it is move in ready, clean, well maintained and will be a great house for us these next few years. We are excited to be moving in, are happy with the house and the neighborhood and feel very blessed that things have worked out so well. We already have a long list of improvements and renovations planned for the house (if you don't know that about us already, having our own place to improve as we see fit, means A LOT! Its one of our favorite things to share together). And yes, we will have before and after pictures.
On top of moving in soon and getting settled more permanently (thank you, thank you, thank you, again Paul and Melanie!!) We are also getting excited to go out to Utah and Oregon to visit family (especially grandmas) and be at the annual Thackeray coast trip (did I say we are excited? WE ARE EXCITED!!!!!)
