1st Day of School

Daylin had her first day of Kindergarten. She was a bit apprehensive about it, but is warming up quickly. I know she will love it and do very well. She was especially excited to ride the bus, and this was actually the most nerve racking part for me. On a bus with older kids, no neighborhood friends for 30  minutes..... but she says she loved it. Fingers crossed.

Astoria

Life here in Astoria goes like this:

Play at the beach... enjoy beautiful weather...

 

Stare at the beautiful view from our back deck...

Enjoy the wildlife that have no fear...

Give Dad very big hugs when we actually get to see him....

Check out the local historic sites...

 

 

 

And go hiking...

 

 

Visit the docks... and in this case the horde of sea lions living there....

Visit the Maritime museum and pretend to shoot down planes with your dad....

 Tour a Coast Guard Ship...

 

Hike the column....

 

 Play at the parks....

 

 

 

And unfortunately we have been battling fevers and exhaustion.

But other than that...

 It's a good life.
