1st Annual Olsen Gingerbread House Event

Mike and I decided on a new tradition at our house. Each year on Christmas Eve we would do a Gingerbread House decorating contest. Being the first year and not having a ton of energy due to having 2 kids that give us 2 hours of free time per day we went simple. We just shared a house (we both won, YEA!!) and we used a store bought kit. In the future we would like to try other venues: homemade gingerbread pieces, graham crackers... etc, and we want it to be more of a competition when the kiddos get older and can enjoy creating their own. But for our first year we took it easy.... and had a lot of fun.
