Hiking the little grand canyon

It is spring break here in Texas so we decided to go hiking with some friends of ours. We went to Palo Duro Canyon (The Canyon is 120 miles long, as much as 20 miles wide, and has a maximum depth of more than 800 feet. Its elevation at the rim is 3,500 feet above sea level. It is often claimed that Palo Duro Canyon is the second largest canyon in the United States.)
Ummmmm! Not terribly impressive but we still had fun :)

The face on the little one basically the whole 3 miles up to the lighthouse formation. She really doesn't like to be carried all that much. Fortunately she was much pleasanter on the way down.

Daylin found her perfect seat. She just loved sitting there. She even tried to lay down but it wasn't terribly comfortable for a nap :)
